If you study here, you can work here
The aquarium is a living laboratory: what you learn in class is applied here to real organisms, with real responsibilities.
Three ways in
Thesis
Research projects with your own data, within the laboratory's active lines and supervised by the aquarium's professors.
Social service
Formal participation in running the aquarium: tank maintenance, organism care and support for ongoing projects.
Volunteering
The most flexible way in. Useful for seeing the work from the inside before committing to a thesis or social service.
What is being researched
A thesis at the aquarium belongs to one of these lines. These are the ones active today, with projects and data in progress.
With whom
The professors who supervise work at the aquarium. Writing to whoever works on your topic works better than a generic email.

How to start
The first step is to write or drop by. There is no call for applications with fixed dates: it is arranged directly with the aquarium team, depending on what is under way.
